I'm tempted to write it off, but it sure does look like from the pictures that it could be something very special.

Could it be a legit 275 mile example?

Seems a little hard to believe.

Looking at the condition of the engine bay and seats it seems plausible. If grandma died and you need the old car gone some people just call a wrecker...

Who ACV'd it at $66,000?

It says clean title, TMU is its own brand, so I'd imagine that's legit. Carfax it.

Why's it at Copart? They don't usually have "nice" things

DieselPaul 08-27-2010 12:38 PM

Repossession? There are repo titles, but once its gets flipped again its still a clean title in ohio AFAIK. Somebody could have taken a $66,000 loan out within the past couple years to buy it from another collector as a collectible. Just talking out of my you know where.

Is the rear glass cracked or is it just a bad tinting job?
Also the hood looked like it did not fit properly. I am thinking it was in a crash, fixed, then just sat in a garage...
What does Carfax say?

Depends how picky you are :) I know more than a few people who keep buying cheap ones and driving them into the ground. Probably makes more sense than spending thousands and thousands of dollars on old cars.. but then again thats just part of the fun... and driving beaters... not all that fun.
