The current plan is to drop the vBulletin forum software and to transfer it to an open source software platform that integrates the forum and the club's web site. The conversion must be underway.

Well, I don't like the new setup. Does not look like I am alone in that opinion either over there. Why the hell did they move from the vbulletin format?

Change can be difficult. Harder for some that others, it seems.

The only reason expressed so far, for moving from vBulletin software to the open source Drupal software was that it integrates MBCA's website with the forum, which used to be two different sites.

Probably some sort of attempt to redefine the MBCA as younger generation oriented through this kid.

Unfortunately, I think that change may spell the death of that forum. Using a less popular forum format which is harder to use and read is not a positive change. Oh well. The website itself is an improvement though.
