September roll-call!

Howdy All,
Well here it is again. Stand up and be counted.... or at least say "here"! And what do you have going on this month? I'm just trying to keep one of the dogs alive.

Fulcrum525 08-31-2010 11:09 PM

My clock says I have another 45 minutes before it's September and if your in California.... :D

ramonajim 08-31-2010 11:52 PM

9 minutes to September here.

An eternity until Darling Wife returns Thursday.

Yes, I'm obsessing. Guilty as charged.

LUVMBDiesels 08-31-2010 11:55 PM

Still August here in NOLA!

Ramonajim, I feel your pain I don't get to see my baby until FRIDAY - Last time I saw her was AUGUST 7!

After Sunday I don't get to see her until 9/18! Damn work schedules!

Its been September for just on 14 hours here !

Spring time down here!!
Not just time yet to put the fire out though.

It has been a average winter rain wise, but every one recons its been wet, many cant remember the last average winter as we have been in drought for about 10 years.

Any way the grass is growing an the live stock are happy !!

Nearly time to start major maintenance on every thing before the silly season starts in earnest.

Ah, the kids are all going, huh? :D Free at last, lol. Or at least quieter.

Friday I drive to Kentucky, pick up a restored and mostly assembled 1955 180D and drag it to the new enclave. Once I recover from the 14 hour trip, I'll work on the kitchen and start setting things up for the first phase of the building in the enclave. Then I can move the rest of the cars in there and start to thin the herd.

4 kids, 3 schools. :rolleyes5 My youngest is on his last year of preschool so he's only gone 1/2 day but it's a nice break for the wife. My food bill will enjoy the respite, too. It was 35-40% more/week over the summer.

The kids back at school = relaxed and happy Mrs. = happier me! :D

Have fun at the enclave! You must be excited to start personalizing it. I hope someday to stop living vicariously through others and have an enclave of my own. :)

Monday was the first day of school here too. I'm gonna miss the kid.

I'm here, juggling repairs with my 114 and the fiance's 300SD.

I'm here! School's on it's second week here in Texas, but my daughter finally has her license!

It's such a relief not to have to cart her around!

:D Oh Grasshopper this must be first one to drive - There is more excitement around the bend.

Hopefully you have taught her well and she is a safe driver.

Did you ever get all the legal headaches straightened out with the Mustang? I remember seeing a thread on it some time ago.

I'm here...was going to finish up my 300SD this weekend but it appears that a hurricane has stepped in to ruin my plans. I've begun school as well but only taking it easy this semester since I could only afford one class (still a lot of work though). Dreading the coming winter...I hate it.

DMV went after the salesman shortly after I pursued the issue for lack of a dealer's license. Paperwork was cleared up and I got plates and a clear title a week later. All is well on that front.
