You know the phrase, "There's two. I wonder who'll be Number 3?"
1st: Barbra Billingsley (Beaver's mom [Ironic...isn't it?]) 2nd: Tom Posten (Mr. C ... the "straight-laced" dad-type) 3rd: Bob Buccione????? (Every parents' nightmare) I was hoping that the 3rd would have been a bit more "presentable" but you can't pick loosers...Oh! Wait.....er...nevermind...

Somewhere Vera Coking is laughing at Guccione.
Who is Vera Coking you ask? Back in 1983, Guccione wanted to build a casino in Atlantic City. Pentahouse Casino. Bought up an entire block except one house that Vera refused to sell for 1,000,000. Guccione built this big steel skeleton all around her house and the steel framing stayed there for years. He went bankrupt and eventually Trump got the land in 2007!! Here's some history of it (about halfway down the story.) Great piece of folklore. http://www.phillychitchat.com/2009/06/walnut-street-hotelapt-building-project.html |

They are. I used to work with a guy (A tech writer at Motorola Oak Hill) that had been a writer for Forum magazine, cranking out the 'letters.' What a disappointment.

One of my good friends is his nephew (I became friends with him while at UConn). His uncle's line of work created some friction in the family which partly led to his parents divorce, thus cutting off access to Uncle Bob (his mother had custody and moved them away).
There were times when he wished he had tried to rekindle his relationship with Uncle Bob.
