black people worshipping the europeanized vision of a semetic zombie is pretty laughable too, to some of us. and disappointing.

What, you mean JC? The scriptures attributed to Jesus are pretty interesting for me, similar to the words of the historical Buddha.

But I'll agree that all the legends and convoluted beliefs around him can be a bit trippy.

BTW, did you catch the 3 black guys at the start holding up posters that said "Democrats started the KKK. Go to Michael Warns.com"

I did and, whoa:

http://www.michaelwarns.com/

Yeah, demos were pretty racist back in the day and then somehow the most racist of the Ds went Republican starting with Strom Thurmond. That was the one thing the white dude said that was worth saying.

Amazing the way people on both sides of the legendary divide are in a froth to identify the true enemy of all that is good and proper.

Don't you know people like Oprah need to have serious bodyguards 24/7? Same with O. He'll need them the rest of his life.

As Tom pointed out in the thread about crooked dem politicians, crooked pols are NOT (edit) exclusive to one party. Neither is idiocy.
But, much as many of you want to point out, repeatedly, a few Muslim terrorists should not be viewed as the majority, neither should a few idiots as a 300,000+ rally be mistaken to represent the vast majority.
Mock all you want, the true strength of the Tea Party and this GB rally will be seen ( or not) in early November.

You're right. Most all the people we heard speak in that video are on the fringes of rational thought.

The Tea Partiers are correct in that govt. spending has gotten out of control. But my take is that many other problems escape their notice. It's all: govt. bad!

More going on than that.

this situation resembles fdr and the "liberty league" of the 1930's, when, in the midst of the great depression, the wealthy and the powerful tried to promote a fascist state, several times. sadly, we lack an fdr for our age.

some of the many commie agendas FDR believed in and promoted.....

"More significantly, he had the Communist Party draft some of his radical social legislation, especially that which affected jobs and working conditions."

the term "government" means "to control". the "controllers" are controlling the "controlees", might as well get used to the idea of being controlled.

So glad that FDR saved us from fascism.
Is that what you really believe?

I believe it, care to argue the point? Of course, I am referring to fascism imposed on us by the Axis powers, I assume you mean domestic. If it's domestic you want, I think most historians believed he saved capitalism from communism. FDR was a truly great president, my biggest disappointment has been that Obama seems to think Wilson was.

Depends on the criteria used to measure "greatness". If you measure the impact on future society, FDR was "great". I'm not convinced that his direction was "best", but it was not "worst".
If I am correctly reading between the lines, I think I agree if you mean that WW was NOT a great, or even a good President.

I had not considered that you meant that FDR saved from Axis fascism. There may be some merit to that statement.

fascism from abroad, fascism from home (see gen.smedley butler and his refusal to take part in a fascist plot of the 1930's. or consider all the other powermad nutcases running around then)
