First week of school blues

Man I miss my buddy. We would be doing this right now if he were around.

Where'd he go?? You can't still do that on weekends?

I am not really having any "blues" for my first week of school. Just the prices for books make me sad, and I am iffy about one of my professors...so far. Haha.

But I have a new roommate! She and I were friends last year, so when my old roommate said she would live off campus, I pulled my friend into my room! Yay! She's much cleaner than the last one. Lol But I didn't really mind the mess that much. I got messy too. But, the room this year just seems cleaner...maybe its because of the way its set up. Hmmm...

You're a better man/dad than I, Kuan. We had a blast all summer long but the Mrs. and I didn't think the first day of school would ever get here. Maybe it's the quantity that gets to me about the 3rd week of July?

Count your blessings. you could be on a remote hilltop in the 'Stan, eating MREs and dodging bullets.

I still say you can do stuff on weekends. Also, FRIDAYS. School is out for the week and BAM! Out in the water again! It's been quite hot for where I am still...so I don't think it'd be a problem.

I just might be doing that in a spot about 200 clicks northwest of Qandahar. Details to follow in January

PS This would REALLY mess up my plans to finish the Enclave/ManCave.

Yeah well after six years of doing everything with him it's hard to let go. Right now we'd either be mountain biking or kayaking. Now he's in lame school where they have to sit still and eat lousy food. I tried to tell the wife he didn't need school but she wouldn't have any of that.

Avoiding that is a very good reason to go to school.
