Hate Speech leads to Violence, again!

No, it’ not a Tea Party member, not a Sarah Palin-Glenn Beck-Sean Hannity-Rush Limbaugh listener/follower/ditto head, PTSD Iraq/ Afghanistan veteran, conservative, Republican ,religious, Born Again, fundamentalist angry white man, racist or homophobe.

James Jay Lee, loved soft furry animals, babbling brooks, waves washing up upon the pristine shore, sunsets, the pitter patter of a spring rain, the serenity of a newly fallen snow; and he was inspired Al Gore and “An Inconvenient Truth”, and environmental novelist Daniel Quinn, notably Quinn's "Ishmael." He probably listened to NPR and watched the Animal Planet Channel, and one can easily imagine he fully embraced and supported Nobel Peace Prize Winner Barack Obama’s leadership on Global Climate Change. He didn’t like polluters, greedy people, and those who had babies!

It will be very interesting to eventually find out the results of the FBI and Homeland Security investigations detailing the spewers of hate who inspired this Eco-Nazi Domestic Terrorist to commit the hostage taking that ended his life.

And that's what happens when we allow people in the media and in positions of public trust to act irresponsibly and label people and activities as "planet killers"!

He sounded like more than a couple of the regular posters on this forum, so watch out!

What a surprise, nutjobs exist outside of the right wing . . . someone alert the media. Oh wait, they already did.

davidmash 09-01-2010 10:54 PM

I know I will hate my self in the morning (or sooner) but where is the hate speech? I see a nut case who went off the rails and got him self killed.

MTI 09-02-2010 12:12 AM

Attempting to understand the logic, in the absence of the same, is highly illogical.

tonkovich 09-02-2010 01:25 AM

the guy was a nutter. pure and simple.

hate speech? from whom? sounds like the nutter was full of his own hate speech, and it led to him committing violence.

He was actually being consistent with his hate of humans. In his "manifesto", he ranted about how every human birth was at the cost of the forest creatures.
He loved the little forest creatures more than humans.
In the end, he lowered the human population by one.
A truly consistent environmentalist. This marks him far more consistent than the environmentalist who preaches how we need to conserve while he owns several LARGE houses and travels around the world by jet.

I have a feeling that he ate bacon and eggs for breakfast, before pulling his leather shoes on. He then parked his leather trimmed car in the parking garage, before grabbing a hotdog for lunch from the vendor on his way to the lobby.

lol ^^^

I think what he probably needed, was to get laid.

Over and over.

BillyBob...

You seem a little too happy about this misguided soul. Out of the millions upon millions who want the Earth to be a better place there are bound to be a few who are just not wrapped too tight. If he were a logical person he would have just changed the channel or written a nasty letter.

And if he thought he was going to scare a bunch of television exec with bombs and guns then he was totally unaware of just how tough a lot of these people are. Sam Goldwyn once tossed Sen. Joe McCarthy's goons off of his studio lot and then called McCarthy himself and told him if he had a problem with it they could settle it outside in the parking lot. He never heard from McCarthy again.

Now, if you want to see a group of people that are the real deal when it comes to this sort of thing then look into a group called the Earth Liberation Front. These people appear to be the real deal when it comes to terror in the name of the little forest creatures.

This guy appears to have had a screw loose. The ELF plans their destruction with great detail, and the ELF is quick to point out that all the others out there that think they speak for the Earth, like Gore, are just a bunch of posers who only wish they were in the same league with the ELF.

Are there terror groups out there that will do destructive things to 'save the planet'? Well, there is at least one.

On the other hand, how many militia groups out there that whine about 'exercising their Second Amendment solutions' for every little problem?

Thousands, perhaps?

here's a link where one can purchase offsets so that one may 'offset' the carbon footprint of their jet airplane trips, the nasty carbon monoxide fumes their cars generate or the energy it takes to heat and cool their large homes:

http://www.carbonfund.org/Calculators#Home

for further information on how one can become a 'friend of the earth', read the link below.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_offset

so, next time you fly on a jet, fire up that gas guzzler or heat and cool your home with energy from a coal plant, you can rest easy knowing someone in a third world country is being paid to live in a tent and ride a bicycle.

I feel better already.

When my wife and I flew BA to England and back recently there was a portion of the ticket page that asked if we wished to pay extra to "offset our carbon footprint". Unfortunately there was no way to swear at the webpage so I siimply ignored it. Swearing at an ecofreak would have been more satisfactory.

the scary part is.....they are serious about trying to get all of us to feel guilty enough to purchase a 'carbon offset'. I think the message is 'pay for your sins NOW you polluter you!'.
