Bugs eating cotton?

We are having a problem where little holes show up in cotton shirts. I never heard of this, just moths eating wool. I did some research and sure enough there is such a thing. Some people say it is a kind of beetle. Has anyone ever heard of this? Not sure what to do. Thanks.

You need to put a bug bomb in the closet with your clothes, there are bugs called silver fish that will do it. there are plenty of bugs that eat cotton in the field, they have just come for a visit.

Definitely a possibility. Silverfish eat paper/cotton/hair/pretty much anything. They're actually cute little dudes so I feel bad killing them when I see them, so I let them be (i only see them in the garage anyways).

Instead of the bugbomb just introduce a bunch of spiders into your closet! :D
