I am interested in those holding the title "Dr." featured at this conference. Surely they cannot be scientists, probably historians, theologians, possibly philosophy PhDs

I mean more in terms as what their research has been and also their respective fields. I wish I had the time to research it now, I imagine it will be an interesting read.

Astrology is not Astronomy. Astrology is on the same level as religioun and superstition. If one of them was supposedly an Astronomer, rather than an astrologer, then he's a piss poor excuse for a scientist.
