put ~3,900 men into one house - what do you get?

a really dirty bathroom.

or, more accurately,

a forum polluted with rivalries, ego contests and unsolicited 'one-uppings'.

very depressing.

Better than a house filled with 3,900 BMW owners.

That bacterial soup pot? There are some new critters evolving out of the "ingredients" just like with the primordial stuff.

Being "civilised" (sic) does not mean you stop being vigilant- because if we do we'll be "civilised".... and dead.

This thread might as well be about about places like NYC- where they want more money to deal with the overpopulation issues because, well, they are overpopulated and they need protection from, ummm, themselves. Instead of not giving the money and telling the folks -"to bad, you live in a crowded ****hole deal with it or move to a less crowded place" they just keep shoveling money to the rats. How is it that we have come to the point where free decisions and stupid individual choices that lead your life down a path of crap means the rest of us have to give you you money for an entitlement lifestyle? It's no surprise when you cram huge amounts of rats into a small space you get a rat race and a rat's life.
