Pretty cool street rodded 57 chebby truck
I had a lovely weekend with the lovely Mrs. W. and #2 lovely daughter and her lovely three chilluns. We went camping to the Indiana dunes. They went home early this morning and we went cruising to our favorite antiquey places near there.
At one of the places we stopped the owner had a really sharp 57 chebby half ton step side with a late model 350 crate motor, headers and some very mild body mods. It was baby blue and was the model with a lot of extra bright work, also had beauty rings with the hubcaps, and whitewall tires. It was also lowered a little and had a repo impala steering wheeel with color matching rim. He told me proudly it had Borlas and I told him I had one of them on my Miata. He said....."Miata...Ha!". Oh well, although I enjoyed looking at it it is not my cup of tea.
