Anyone own a late model Nissan?
My 2005 Hyundai is now paid for! So what do I do today I go and buy a new car Since I am trying to keep a 17yr old Lexus alive and starting to get a long in tooth 2002 T&C I wanted somethin new in the driveway because I was pushing 90k on the Hyundai. I didnt want 3 old cars to keep up. It still ran and drove great...I will prolly wake wit much remorse tomorrow
I have never owned a Nissan before...However when my wife turned 16 in 1990 her parents got her a new sentra with a/c , automatic and optional cassette deck. It got her thru hi school and college. Sold it in 1998 before we got married when it has about 150k on it. I have owned close to 30 cars in my 22yrs of drivin. All of them very used except for 3 of them I bought brand new. I traded today for a 2010 Nissan Versa S... Slick lil ride and I hope it gets the 32 mpg hiway it suggest. I kept looking for a nice w123 but pickins have been slim so I bit this fat bullet Anyone have any experience wit late model Nissans? I bought this for the strong value, good crash scores and a huge back seat..It is a 5 door hatch and is very VERSAtile. I am pretty happy wit it so far. I hope its ready for the 116 mile round trip a day slog to and fro north Atl every day! Maybe the MB diesel will have to wait a lil longer. I may unload the lex and continue my search...Oh well thanks for any thoughts. peace!

Our Nissan experience has been outstanding. My good wife has had a 1990 Maxima since new, now 160K on the clock. Mechanically, the car has been a real delight, and waaaaaaaaaaay less expensive to maintain, repair and operate than my 1988 MBz. She still regularly gets compliments from strangers who admire its wonderful cosmetic condition, too. I realize that a 1990 is not a recent vintage, but we can attest to the fact that those were built to last and to run with minimal mechanical demands. Our experience with Nissan has been excellent!
