Worlds fastest ferrari-Again

I remember this car from the early nintes Road&track cover.
Back then they yanked the ferrari V8 and stuck a twin turbo chevy in with an adapter plate and broke 204 mph on the roads outside dallas. Now they're at bonneville with a big block -probably aluminum motor

Refinement? Engineering? Naww...HORSEPOWER!!!!! :usa::usa::usa:

The 84-and 85 GTO are -might be the most beautiful sports cars ever made IMHO.

I quote your picture again because it's worth seeing twice! Up 'till mid nineties Ferrari's were stunning (even the crazy Testarossa); now not so much.

I prefer the F40 but the GTO is also very attractive.

I was under the impression that once you get into the 250mph range, 2 driven wheels are not enough traction to overcome the drag force (hence the AWD veyron...)

I do respect an 8.8L big block with 2 turbos that holds together long enough for a top speed run. At 2000hp thats 227hp/liter - thats not unheard of but nor is it like they are just using displacement to make power. cool motor.

Looooove the F40. I don't like many of the new ferraris...this to me is hideous

This one is nice from the front, but the back is ugly IMO

THIS is one of my favorites, the 355

Am I the only one who only likes the Testarossa? I think it is because I grew up deathly in love with the Lamborghini Countach.

I love the Testarossa, specifically the 512TR. It does unfortunately scream late 1980s, but not necessarily in a bad way.
