G in natural environment...

Would love to see a 2011 Jeep Cherokee do that, oh what they don't have live front axles with lockers and low range? Oh well.

Independent front suspension works so well off road though!

G's Rule!

Hey, mine might be "cursed" with IFS, but at least it has low range, and a proper oil-burning powerplant.

I'd like to see any G you buy at a dealership today do that as well. With too huge wheels and all that heavy luxury equipement to huff around they are not the same machine they were in the 80s.

Which is why I want an 80s one

I'd like to see what some of those after pictures look like. While they might be tough vehicles, they are not impervious to chasis and suspention damage.

Compu85 I guess u never saw the pictures of our G.

Let's just say it's a later model, and the day we rolled it out of the showroom it was covered in mud. It's a workhorse, not a garage queen.

I got some pics but am on my iPod. If I were at my computer I would post em up for ya...

Maybe tomorrow!

Hattie,
The caption could be "next time I will remember to put the hand brake on before I get out."

It is the same vehicle, other than the motor and transmission.

I wish they were not so ugly. I think the same guy designed the mid-90s E-Class!

a better comparison would be a wrangler rubicon not the cherokee. youd be hard pressed to follow that in a G. they made them 4 door and much nicer, and you could buy 2 or three for the price

I'm sorry, M. Here you go.

I'd love a stipped down Mil-Spec one.

Way cool set-up.
