Had a near accident with another MB

The dark drive home last night from work was an unpleasant one due to some ahole driving a flagship Mercedes nearly diving into the back of my car.It seemed like on purpose the way he came down from 70mph to a 30mph speed limit and cleared my bumper by less than 2 ft.Approaching a 4 way stop, I turned right and could clearly see he was a drunk or idiot or both.He buzzed thru with a hollywood and stayed on my tail ,still doing the same junk I popped my clutch to give him a lurch off the accelerator,he then made his move around and saluted his finger .Took awhile to cool down and began to think of how he was eventually going to run into someone ,unlike me, that has no control over anger. In Texas you can carry a concelled hand gun ,I believe its unlawful to drive with it loaded in a car, this could be why.Road Rage

I see a lot of near wrecks amoung Benz drivers mainly because they are too busy looking at themselves in the mirror. BTW I have never been in a wreck. My car was parked and some Hill Billy Dumba$$ from Alabama back into it with his POS ML.

Never know about some people. Sorry for your experience, but vehicle make and model have no bearing on the wingnut behind the wheel.

I look forward to the day I can park the car and never (need to) get back in. I perfer walking and public transport. It's just too bad that I live in the middle of nowhere.

What do you think you did to cause the driver of the "flagship Mercedes-Benz," to react as he did as he passed you?

Actually, the law here in Texas says you can carry a loaded gun in your car and not have a CHL as long as it is not in plain view, among other provisions.
Quote:
Q: Can I carry a handgun in my personal vehicle without a permit?

A:Yes. Section 46.02, Texas Penal Code was amended to allow a person to carry a handgun in a motor vehicle that is owned by the person or under his/her control. The weapon must not be in plain view, and the person must not be engaged in criminal activity other than a Class C misdemeanor that is a violation of a law or ordinance regulating traffic. Finally, a person carrying a handgun in his/her car must not be prohibited by law from possessing a firearm and the person cannot be a member of a criminal street gang as defined in Section 71.01.
