My Benz is not worthy :(

Was at a house today helping with some work and I saw:

5 Duesenbergs, one being a 935 Auburn Boattail Speedster, one Duesenberg SJ Brunn Riviera (shown at 1933 Chicago Car Salon), a Victoria and two others.
1 Mercedes 300SL, but being a rare replica (49 made)
1 Very, very old Corvette (not sure which one since I dont care for them)
1 Baby Blue original T-Bird
3 DeSotos, one being the only of its kind. The owner actually bought another DeSoto just to have the trunk matt for this one to complete it.

Pretty nice collection in the garage. All in better than show room condition. And he has a few more that he does not keep at his house. It was a privilege to see some amazing vehicles, especially some so rare. Really made my big Benz seem pretty small.

Not one of the cars you mentioned would I trade the 560SEL for as a daily-driver.

Sometimes people have it made, yet they don't know it.

However, the Corvette (unfortunately) is probably worth a ton of money. Not that it would make any kind of daily driver.

Need pictures of all the cars if you're still out at that location..

Thats the guy. Wonderful collection and I love that he drives a few of them regularly.

I can probably find pictures of most of them online, but I did not want to take pictures myself. Felt it rude even though I was there with a camera, it was for another reason. Today was my last day there, so I wont be going back until January.

He did a pretty neat project that Leno wrote about.
