New Tires For Galant?

So we have an '06 Galant and it needs tires BAD. Sorta at a loss on what to buy. Don't want to spend anymore than $400 out the door for a set. Size is 215/60r16. Things that are important to me are: high tread life and high wet traction(prefer an "A" rating).

I have been eye ballin Falken SN-828's... but I have no experience with Falkens. In the past I have been very happy with BF goodrich for my SHO's. I have General Altimax HP's on my 300d and I think they are pretty great. Getting ready to get Michelin's for my TD too.

Any ideas?

Did you do any research over at tirerack.com? Pretty good resource. I like my Michelins, but out of your stated price range. Stay away from Pirelli IMHO.

I put Falken ZE-512 tires on my mercedes back in 2006. They were Consumer Reports' top-rated performance all-season tire at the time and I've been happy with them. They come in the size you are looking for; the ratings on the ones I got were traction 'A' and treadwear 420.

In size 195/60R15 they cost me $60 each. With (slightly overpriced) mounting and balancing it came to $310 total.
