Love this car...

I like white and I'm kind of feeling something a bit faster than a V6 powered truck.

CLS?

Although I really, really like the 2010/11 E63 better, the W212 is soooo much more modern and nicer.

Here is the first part of the seller's description:
Quote:
Navigation-Harman Kardon Audio Package - This 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class 4dr E63 AMG - Navigation-Harman Kardon Audio Package Sedan features a 6.2L V8 SFI DOHC 32V 8cyl Gasoline engine...
They're asking more than $100,000 for that car. Couldn't they write better ad copy?

Sorry for the hijack.

" I bought the car with 4,000 miles after it had been in an accident and had my guy fix it. It has a salvage title ."

hmmmmmm Maybe NOT an accident
-but really a flood vic.

.

.....in which case it would be in "showroom codition" ONLY in the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.

And to sweeten the deal, the factory warranty on this "peach" has just run out !!!!

Hey Chris, stop trollng the Autotraders ads! lolololol

The newer Mercedes, with the exception of the biggest and most expensive, remind me so much of ricers that I'm just not impressed. You'd think for that kind of money you'd get something that didn't look just like every car on the road. Even the grille has been compromised to the point where you see one coming in the opposite lane you're not sure whether it's a Merc or a Hyundai until it's right on you. When did they leave off being copied and start copying anyhow? Eary 90's?

I have no problem telling them apart, and they drive amazing! MB doesn't copy anyone.

I think I would take this one:

http://www.autotraderclassics.com/classic-car/1961-Mercedes_Benz-300SL-370988.xhtml?actionMethod=find%2Fvehicle%2FvehicleSearchResults.xhtml%3AuShipController.init&conversationId=398509

I still like these better than the gull-wings.

Very nice, I like the old ones but having just come out of an old car I'm feeling something new for a bit.

I really like the 6.3's and 600.

They are very cool, but I'm not sure I would want to own one that's out of warrantee.

Given the selection you've just posted I would go for that CLS.

It's ugly to me now. I never got used to the butt of the previous E-Class (even though the rest of it was gorgeous), but now the new W212 has the most uninspired rear-end I've ever seen. Looks like a Korean type. The edgy lines seem awkward too, it just doesn't flow. Like an ugly Cadillac.

LOL a Mercedes reminds you of a ricer....What does the new Civic V-Techs remind you of then?
