en-el12 battery
 
Ordered a new Nikon coolpix s70 camera which comes with a 5hr. Battery.There are many en-el12 battery's on line but what determens the amount of hrs. it will last?

You would have to know the power consumption of the camera to determine the answer. More mAh capacity in the battery, more time...

Will the camera have a max. mAh?

That I don't know, but if the battery has a mAh rating on it, and Nikon claims it has 5 hours of life, you can discern the average power comsumption per hour.
