California gross Polluter.....Every year?
My 260E failed as gross polluter last year when I smogged her, and registration this year is requiring a smog?
Is that right? It is supposed to be every 2 years, but does the fact it was a gross polluter change that? Anyone know for sure?

Yes and this year CARB will require you to make a public apology for driving a destroyer of the mother earth.... Time in the stocks and public humiliation comes the next year.....

IIRC, my former van - '76 chev - landed in that category and I did have to smog it every year. I retired it under the $500 buy off of old vehicles a couple of years after so I couldn't tell you about expiration of that designation.

That could be what happened to me, seems to ring a bell. A bit of extra hoop jumping but not too bad.
