Madison Square Garden
Thinking of taking in a basketball game at Madison Square Garden. The only tickets in my price range look like they are way up high (Section 308, for example).
Would appreciate comments from anyone here familiar with MSG. Are those nose-bleed seats worth messing with? |

MSG isn't too bad , visibility is decent pretty much all the way around. Don't expect to have a great (close up and detailed) view of the game despite being able to see the whole court. All the times I've been to MSG for bball games and tournaments I've been courtside

They aren't too shabby. None of them are really all that far away. It's a great venue and a great atmosphere.
Check out the MSG Seating Chart which has a "seat view" for each section which varies by event type.

300's are not too bad.
You get up in the 400 level and its pretty far. Listened to Springsteen from there in the late 70's, 2 rows from the very back- about as far away as you could get. It was the only time I was in the Garden when I felt the the stands rocking up and down.
