i'm a gasser lover, but the red leather and overall condition are amazing (if the pictures are to be trusted.) price seems fair, considering.

the regular TSx xxx alphanumeric California license series on the plates indicate this car was replated in 1990.

the car is an '86 so it had either personalised plates, or the prior cali plates were stolen damaged in a wreck, or out of state.

But the custom rear frame and California-illegal front custom license plate suggest the car was well loved.


It would appear to be a very well kept and extremely clean original car with absurdly low miles for an '86 Diesel, but would have to have the alleged history thouroughly ch3ecked.

Almost certainly unrusted in the mild So Cal climate, the price is cheap, very cheap though with the most horrid interior color you could get against a nondescript exterior color.

If I was looking for a real good diesel W126 for cheap, that was only driven about 5,000 miles a year and it proved a lifetime Cali car with all dealer service, verified, and no issues, I'd grab it and drive it for the rest of my life.

The trap oxider would have to be gone, though. I think the '86 and '87 Cali cars had those and the free factory recalls ended years ago..

With care it can last 700,000 miles to a million miles. Easy to work on, always parts available, and VERY decent gas mileage, safe, uber comfortable and safe, prestige....

At a giveway price if it checked out.

Somebody is going to probably get a REAL good car for REAL cheap.

Steal of a lifetime for anyone living in the snow or rust belt.

I was going to take a look at the w/e for a friend. I called and he asked me if I had the right cash as he had a queue of people lining up to buy the car. He was so cocky that I almost puked, so I passed.

It is a better price now but I think buyer passed it for a reason.
