by the way- CLK--when I was heading thru your lovely state-I was in a hurry to get home, but did turn south at morehead and went thru the hills (mountains
) and the people up there had these strange quilt pattern paintings on the sides of the barns--sometimes a quilt painted on a flat black barn side--and some were just painted solid flat black?? Are these people some sort of weird cult? or is it just random art? when heading thru old morehead i did drive past the "curl up n die" beauty parlour -That was funny. When I got home and searched i saw that it is mainly a southeast ohio kind of thing.
