The student section (The Paint Crew) camped out outdoors beside Mackey arena last night in single digit temperatures in preparation for the big game. Michigan State under Tom Izzo has been a powerful force in the big 10. They always have these big bodied atheletes who can jump and run and play hard.

Tonight PU was pumped up and played very hard and executed very well and managed to hold off Michigan State.

It was a very hard fought game but PU's guys just kept making big plays and did not let it slip away at the end.
