I got a bible when I was confirmed and had to read it for "lutheran school".

I remember that month was loaded with disgust. Fortunately, I learned that I should treat christian theology the same way I treated Greek mythology.

Jesus may have been incapable of that hypocrisy. There's no proof that Jesus was literate so giving him a copy of any book may have been useless.
