Magnetic Polar Shifts Causing Massive Global Superstorms
 

Variations of this theory have been around for a very long time, I've read a couple of interesting books on it. I'm not sure I'm buying it, but it's interesting.

From what I've seen / read the poles have shifted or reversed regularly over the earths history. I believe the last thing I saw though said we are only midway in the current cycle.

The wobble though is more related to the Moon, who's orbit is slowly increasing and will evventually leave us. Then the earth will WOBBLE again.
