I received the keys to a house I just bought. I'll be moving in this weekend...Does this count as a victory? Oh, it was bought with cash, meaning NO monthly payments. I own it outright, not co-owned with a bank.
That's the victory of it all... |

Ahhh, I remember my first tamales; Christmas Eve, 1983. Yuma, Arizona. In the Southwest, tamales are a traditional celebration food. Beer and Christmas tamales on Christmas Eve. Christmas tamales are the red ones with a black olive in the filling. Green corn tamales are often served along side, for contrast. The Holidays just aren't quite right without getting a couple dozen tamales for snacks and lunches. I think I'll stop by Sofia's, or maybe La Canasta, for lunch tomorrow. |
