The Girandoni Air rifle they used in the video was not the exact gun used by Lewis and Clark but one thought to be very similar. Either way those early air guns are quite amazing. Think about the pressure in those Stocks (or tanks as used in Ball Reservoir style) and have a gun that shot (deadly) multiple times on one charge.
