Barn finds- Anyone interested?
I have no connection to the seller nor have I seen the cars but I know they exist.
These cars are currently available for sale. The 'seller' is basically an agent for the owner and is willing to entertain offers. I think the land has been sold and the cars have to go one way or another. I have no interest in any of the cars. Just passing it on. I will put on pics later. PM me if you want the seller's phone number. The cars are 1950 Packard, 1950 Ford, 1963 Chev Biscayne, and several MG’s. Not my cup of tea but maybe you guys know someone. On a side note, I emailed Wayne Carini (Chasing Classic Cars TV show) and he actually called them about the Packard. They were mildly interested but really wanted the convertible (which it is not) so he passed.

I had a '50 Packard. Not too collectible unless it's a 'vert.

My barn finds
Years ago I was driving on a backroad in southern Michigan and saw tail fins and a for sale sign sticking out the door of a barn near Coldwater.
It was a 1955 Packard Carribean convertible and the asking price was $2500. The only problem was that there was no exterior sheet metal between the floorboard and the center stripe. It was that rusted. In retrospect, it may have been worth the price for convertible frame and actuator, the interior parts and the drive train. At the time, it was a great disappointment Around the same time, I was in northern Indiana and saw an abandoned farm. I went into the barn to see what was there and found a panel with a bunch of gauges labeled "Ford". There were three of each. It looked interesting so I took it. Turned out to be the instument panel from a tri-motor Ford airplane. It paid for a lot college excesses.
