The subject of the second email was: "Atten.: Death Threat!!!! Bomb!!!" In that email, she purportedly wrote, "Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your families will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks."

"I hope you have a good time in hell," she allegedly wrote in the lengthy email that listed scenarios in which the legislators and their families would die, including bombings and by "putting a nice little bullet in your head."

Anyone surprised that she is a union teacher? I know I'm not. I wonder how the media will spin it to somehow tie her to white heterosexual military veterans. The problem here is the lack of condemnation of her despicable acts from those in her camp, but once again, I am not surprised.

It's better than a knee-jerk guess.

I once asked a Dem member of the Texas Ledge if he ever got death threats. His answer was something like 'so many I stopped counting'.

And that was in the 60's.

The Republicans need to take the attention off of what they have tried to do in WI, so they trot out this bit of 'news'. Pretty common stuff, really.

I do think the Police should pay this lady a visit and see if she is really serious or just nuts. People do crack under stress and do things they regret later.

Many years ago a friend of mine in the Dallas area did something unpopular and the death threats just poured in. The Police told him to let them know if anyone showed up at his house and beyond that did nothing since they deemed none of the threats as realistic.

They told him then if someone wanted to hurt him they would never send a letter to that effect, they would just do it.

Maybe this lady was just off her meds.
