That would require some pretty serious attention to various fluid systems. Otherwise you'd have oil dripping from the hood.

Yup. I doubt they had any other fuel system back then, but I may be wrong, probably wrong actually.
It's a little know fact that the Green Hornet pioneered fuel injection.
