I wonder what that pays? what a great marketing idea for them although I thought they might try to get someone who wassnt doing an impersonation of Gilbert

I always turn the AFLAC commercial sound down anyway. Maybe if they would have come up with a voice like the Geico Gecko it wouldnt be so repulsive.

Hah! We made an offer on a house in Hugo last year at this time.

I live about 10 miles or so away from there now.

Commercials are a good gig. After you join the Union, the AFTRA, you get paid every time the spot airs.

The last time I checked the AFTRA minimum for a national spot was $5,260 for each showing.

I hope this guy gets a good agent.

wow thats awesome for him, I sometimes see the same darn commercial on the "commercial less cable stations" 5-7 times per hour.....

A lot of actors do voice over's for commercials. If the spot brings in customers they have earned what they make.

I think Patrick Stewart is doing commercials for National Car Rental. The message is simple (you can get a full size car for the price of a small car) but the message has to break through the clutter.
