Need recommendations for a good plastic glue...

I got a plastic fender flare that has few brackets broken off and am considering options for gluing them back on there. I could use the JB Weld but since the plastic underneath is pretty smooth it may not hold well and it tends to run all over the place too. What are some other good plastic cements you'd recommend - I may need to build up around the joints for these brackets to provide extra strength so looking for something thick and strong.

If all else fails I may use Gorilla Glue...

How about PVC Cement?

The only problem with any cement is that the bonded area isn't going to be as flexible as the original item was before the breakage.

JB Weld does fine if the prep-work is done PROPERLY and the treatment area is clean as clean can get. AND THEN, you still need to be sure the plastic you're working with will "match up" with the JB Weld. Some plastics just don't take JB Weld at all.

Good luck with the fix...but you do know, in the back of your mind, you're going to be buying a new piece of plastic fender flare...don't you?

I've used "Amazing Goop" to re-glue a few minor things in the past months. It's not very runny, and it holds like crazy. Even warped, loose, wood trim on an SL ashtray was able to be glued flat and it held just fine.
