It was the first time I heard it, the meterologist on our local station said it this morning. The only connection is the day, "May the fourth be with you" instead of "May the force be with you." Groan I know.

Personally, I never liked Star Wars. More of a Star Trek fan myself.

I do recall it was first released in May, but it was May 25th, 1977..

The only ad I ever heard for it was a radio spot with the tag line, "Never was so much spent just to have a good time.".
