Thank God they were merely Canadians. Could have been dicey otherwise.

Out for a walk, indeed! No telling what Canadians are likely to do.

I'm going to have to have a closed-door with my truck driver when he gets back today to ensure that this isn't part of some bigger plot.

Pt.Reyes Station Sheriff's calls are reported in the Pt. Reyes Light

This tiny burg in rural Western Marin County (other side of the Golden Gate Bridge) has been notorious for many many years and become world famous for it's "Sheriff's calls" in its weekly paper.

i think that Ssn Franciscans like myself who know this part of Marin County well (I actually lived in central Marin till I was 18 years old) would call the place a "Hotbed of Social Rest".

A few:

"A Cutlass was towed from a property".

"A black cow was on the side of the road."

"Someone reported that a thousand dollars of "guitar stuff" was stolen from his car during the night."

"A woman reported seeing a Hispanic man inside her neighbor's art studio on Terrace Avenue but changed her story often enough that the deputies were not convinced."

"Someone complained about a neighbor who was trimming a tree despite being asked to stop."

"Someone complained about loud drumming."

"A man complained about his neighbor next door who he said had six dogs in his back yard. The man, who had recenly adopted extra canines, told deputies that he was tryig to find new homes for them."

"A man said that a leaf blower and a power drill had been stolen from the Church of the Assumption"

"Several cows were in the road. Ranch hands herded them back inside the fence."

" Upset caller reported two men were acting inappropriately while filming a video. They were wearing a wig and a hat and there were children in the area. Deputies responded."

All these people were not Canadians.

They were Merkins..

Invasion jitters? I do not think we are going to invade you in greater numbers.

You have the Mexicans south of you and we have the Americans south of us. So we kind of know how you feel.

We don't have French separatists near the middle of our country, though.

So,

What do you get when you cross a black person with a Japanese person in North Dakota?

You get a person who, every December 7th, invades Pearl Bailey.

We used to stock up on the Brador every time we'd come back from Laval (had a friend who was from there). Of course alcohol content was more important than anything else back then.

I still think they are going to attack us, their friendly attitude is just to lure us into a false sense of security!

Wait they have oil and WMD's!

Yes, they will attack us with Tim Horton's and poutine, when we least expect it.

Oh god. It's already started.
