Charities 'funding schools for jihadists'

Islambad: Islamic charities from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emigrates financed a school network in United States allie Pakistan that recruited children as young as eight to wage Holy-war.

The network in Punjab, Pakistan reportedly exploited worsening poverty to indoctrinate children and send them to training camps where they recieve military training to fight against the Pakistani government and the West.

Suadi Arabia , home to the fundementalist Wahhabi brand of Islam, is seen as funding some of Pakistan's hardline religious seminaries, or 'Madrasahs', which churn out young men eager for holy war.

At these madrasahs, children are denied contact with the outside world and taught sectarian extremism, hatred of non-Muslims, and anti-Western and anti- Pakistan government philosophy.

Families with multiple children and severe financial difficultys are currently being exploited and recruited.

There was a media report about a year ago concerning the largest mosque in Australia sending about $2.5 million to help this sort of activity.
They also discovered that there were a number of members of that mosque that were baggage handlers at Sydney airport.
So much for enhanced security !!

Schools for Terrorists.

If you are starving and your belly is pushing against your backbone, you won't care much about the ideology of whoever offers to feed you.

I don't blame the ignorant peasant families wih too many mouths they can't feed for turning to these well funded schools of hate, in their desparation.

But if I were in charge of things in the USA I would be VERY receptive to the idea of cutting off the head of the terorist snake.

Targeted assured assassination of EVERY hate preaching Mullah,

Raze every such school to the ground, along wih every one of them that is rebuilt.

Every single terrorist school burned to the ground and every single Mullah that taught hate, KILLED.

It is the only language they understand

At the moment I have 2 hard-ons.

1. Gaddafi. why in the f*ck hasnt this jackal been nuetralised?

2. The Saudis. Isnt it interesting that Obama pounded his chest at a good portion of the Arab world, and did not peep one word about the Saudi's?

Hows this for an example> Riyadh: human rights activist Walid Abou el-Kheir reports that Ms. Manal al-Sherif was detained last saturday by the country's religious polisi (Police) , who are charged with ensureing that the kingdoms rigid interpretation of Islamic teachings is observed.

Ms. Sherif recently launched a campain against the ban on women driveing.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world to ban women from driveing.

I agree with you Jim, that these hate mongering Mullahs should be eliminated, and most of your points are 100% accurate.

But there is one thing you have to keep in mind when dealing with the Wahhabi's. Their mind-set is> "Even if I lose-I win"

With that being said, I can understand why people around the world, and the West in particular..is sceptical about Muslims/Islam..but, one has to keep an open mind, and realise that..contrary to some popular beliefs Progressive Muslim's do not embrace this ideoligy practised by the Wahhabi tribe, or anyone affiliated with them.

And would like to see them gone as much as non-Muslims.

But....it is very hard to get a grip on the situation, when Washington is giving a green lite to Saudi Arabia.

As I said in another thread, other countires are funding them via the back door. Saudi Arabia has oil. Don't rock the boat. The good news, Canadian Sand Tar and the Brazilians two major oil finds. I did get a report that the Chinese have invested heavily into someones oil find. I would think Brazil. Obama did get hammered on visiting Brazil and promising funding from the US. Also, the Japanese Tsunami occured at the same time.

The United States should join them because this country is full of female drivers who absolutely refuse to put down and stop talking or texting on their telephones while driving

A few years back in an interview on one of CSPAN's book programs, Thomas Friedman offered this explanation of the relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, and why many ME societies are such a mess -

The U.S. basically cut a deal with the Saudis and the other major ME oil producing countries - we'll buy your oil and keep your economy afloat and present ruling class in power, and turn a blind eye toward what you do to your own people in your own country, if you'll do three things - keep the price of oil reasonable, help us float our debt, and let Israel continue to exist.

With that arrangement, and all the oil money flowing in, there was no driving factor for change or any reason to develop anything resembling an actual economy in any of those countries - to where you have excessive wealth almost beyond reason existing cheek to jowl with Stone Age poverty.

One of the saws I've heard regarding 9/11 over the years - having no idea if it is actually true or one of the urban myths/conspiracy theories that have sprung up around it - is that in the day or two immediately afterward, when all air traffic in the U.S. was still grounded, was that anyone with any ties to the Saudi ruling class were quietly gathered up and flown back to SA, so the Saudis wouldn't be publicly embarrassed by having relatives of the royal family hauled in front of whatever investigation was set up - and the U.S. powers that be wouldn't be scandalized by whatever juicy tidbits they'd spill regarding any "special arrangements" that might have been in place.
