Take advantage of the economic crisis, used auto equipment from closing businesses

Share a work space with a couple other businesses, we are all sick of paying for vehicle maintenance on our work vehicles. We've decided to put together a repair bay in the work space.

The day before yesterday I picked up a 7500lb capacity two post lift in excellent condition, a torch set, welding equipment, and a 9 foot tall circa 1965 air compressor (rebuilt) and piping and fittings, complete with full additional spare for less than 1500 bucks for everything. Guy wants to sell me another pair of lifts, but one is all I can fit and really need. All this stuff is fully working, and the lift even comes with new spare hydraulic hoses.

All we need now is a tire machine and a balancer to make our single bay van repair station fully operational for most issues.

Amazing how cheap this stuff can be. Air compressor alone is worth 1500 bucks, big enough reservoir to power tools for a three bay shop plus sand blaster and 4 tire machines in the shop I got it out of

hes got a crazy two post/alignment rack hybrid I have never seen before. Its a 9000 lb two post with the 4 swing arms removed, and an alignment rack attached instead. Rack also has the pneumatic center lifts as well, so its a pretty sweet setup for 1200 bucks. Rack's a little rusty though, might need work. Only a million hour drive from you.

I was considering buying the 9000lb lift since its way newer than the adapted rack, scrapping the rack making a couple hundred bucks, and buying 4 swing arms from somewhere.
