suspension lift kit for 600 & 300sel 6.3

does anyone know if the suspension lift kit for when your air suspension is down is the same kit for the m100 600 series car and the m109 6.3 car?

I was wondering what he was talking about. I thought maybe he was talking about changing the air suspension to a conventional spring setup. People sometimes do this with Crown Vic LX's and Lincoln Town Cars, but factory parts to do this (courtesy of base and police model Vics) exist.

I used to have a 6.3 but the factory blocks were not in there. I don't know why they would disappear but do seem to as a lot of owners are always looking for them.

Others have found they could just stick a block of wood in there and accomplish the same thing. You cannot drive the car with the blocks in place; they are only there for use when transporting the car.

I know this does not really answer your question, but I would guess they are the same since the air system on the 6.3 and the 600 are the same.

suspension lift kit for 600 @ 6.3

it is true you can use blocks of wood. it works better in the rear than the front. i also find it very strange that all of the kits ,at least 95% +, are missing. i have owned at least 20 + air suspension cars both 112 & 109 and i actually drove on one of these kits in downtown baltimore md. in a 1965 300 se long . i had to drive 1 square city block and when i was done my kidneys were hurting.,luckily i was young then. what i am trying to find out is if the kits that are always missing are the same for a 600 w100/m100 and a 109/112. i have no experience with the 600.

additionally they are not just blocks but formed pieces that fit in the suspension. also the rear lifts actually bolt on. the fronts are held in by pressure and i lost one of the 4 fronts one time while towing a 300 sel 3.5 home from new jeresy , i was very unhappy.i also drove this car with the lift kit but on dirt and grass. very bumpy but not like the streets of baltimore.
