Beer on a hot day

What is your favorite beer on a day like today?

I'm enjoying some New Castle Brown Ale

It's 'Newcastle' (all one word), like the city it's named after http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newcastle_upon_Tyne

As much as I prefer heavier beers in general, ice cold Bud Lights just hit the spot on especially hot days or heavy work.

I like Newcastle Brown a lot, it goes down almost too easy. They have a new Summer Ale that's pretty tasty too. I like a nice wheat on a hot day sometimes. When I'm working outside, a cooler of (believe it or not) Budweiser Select 55 is close by. That stuff is fizzy, cold and just sort of hints at a taste of beer. It's alcohol is so low you can drink it all day. More refreshing than water when you're really hot, but that's about it.

I have been known to enjoy a Sam Adams summer ale or a Blue Moon with an orange slice on a hot day.

Longboard Island Lager. Light enough that it's extremely refreshing but still has a good flavor. I much prefer ales but this lager is great

Used to be Rolling Rock, back when it was a regional beer. After they quit using the Latrobe brewery, it has been hard to find a good flavorful beer for a hot summer day.

Superior from Mexico is good, but hard to find.

For winter beers, Molsen makes several good ones

Lacking those, Miller Hi-Life seems as good as any for a 100 degree summer day.

I would love to find a good Pilsner available in South Texas.

sorry, i'm not that picky. have a cold heineken in my hand right now.

since it was the first beer i ever drank, i also enjoy a cold bud, now and then. ( i know, it's got rice in it - and god knows what else - but the nostalgia factor is there.)
