Try doing a bunch of push-ups and then have some chamomile tea or such.

Find a very small, pain-in-the-butt project you have been putting off and do it. Something like clearing out some vines and weeds. Something where physical exertion can be a good thing. Burns off the anger and leaves you with a nasty job all done!

Advice once given to me: take your balled-up socks and throw them at the wall. I have to say that I have done it, and it helped. In the mean-time, try to keep well, I hope you quickly get out of your doldrums.

instead of thinking about what you dont have or what is wrong, think about what you have and whats not wrong. no matter who you are your lot in life is still better than millions of others..........

Is the situation something beyond your control, or can you do something to change the situation?
If it is something over which you have no control, then relax do another project, and deal with the repercussions when you can.

I usually pound a few beers, rub out out and take a nap.

Or I go outside, pop in my headphones, crank some metal and do some yardwork.

Jim, you will eventually move through this phase. Either circumstances will force you along or you'll recover yourself. Right now you probably can't think straight or maybe you can't get along with your normal stuff, so whatever you do, make sure you're safe and the people around you are safe.

When I'm in a foul mood, I just sleep a lot. Works for me.
