Ah yes free labor, that's how my parents started me out and with that knowledge I also did my neighbors lawn. Eventually I bought a Mercedes with the money I saved....then the neighbors suddenly stopped paying me

Barber Joe because the only other person who could cut his hair was Barber Fred and vice verse.

That her prior job was working in "Military Intelligence".

I personally wouldn't.

OTOH my internist is about 50lbs overweight and I listen to him. (And I'm probably considered underweight.)

By the same token, I don't like that Gov Christie is ___ lbs overweight, but I like his message.

The message better be very good if the messenger isn't a role model.

Speaking of which, would you listen to a nutritionist who looked like a supermodel????

Why not try the DeSoto test?

This nutrionist isn't fit, she's a load. I'm tempted not to refer...
Why not try the DeSoto test? " Ask the man who owns one." Get references and let (un) satisfied customers give you the DATA to decide the matter.

I'm 60 years old, got checked at a military hospital 2 weeks ago that say my body mass still meets the Army standard but I plan to lose a bit ecause I know I will feel better. I have to stay active and lose weight to suit myself, rather than the regs.

The "average" is just that.

The nutritionist works within my group of "providers", so in certain circumstances I have no option but to refer a client to this person. If it were me, I'd get over. Listen to the message and ignore appearances.

This assumes a person cannot cut his own hair- quite the lawyer trick to make you think in one way only. It also assumes they cut each others hair.

I would never follow the advice of someone who is an expert in something but then in that field they personally fail. It's kinda like voting for a treasurer of a company who is personally bankrupt or who does not pay his own taxes. Or hiring a boat captain who has lost vessels. I'm sure a slick lawyer or prison cellmate can make a argument for anything- and if you want to buy some snake oil go ahead- not me.
