I soldered it, didn't work. Figured it was worth a shot. Oh well.

I have the new board in there and it's washing a load right now. Thanks everyone!

Hi Loraine furniture. U were able to help the eurotech 172. Wondered if u could assist here. My eurotech ewf272el washer does not agitate or spin. It fills and drains. I am moving in two weeks.... Ugh! U thinking this might be another control board issue? What luck . Thanks for any help!

When did this become an appliance repair forum for non-Mercedes owners??

Don't worry about it, I'm sure Lorainfurniture will help if he sees this thread.
Lots of folks here don't own Mercedes and some that do don't drive them.
There are some very well informed and good intentioned folks on this board so don't let one sour apple chase you off.
Besides, you could post something political in nature and be welcomed with open arms, so asking appliance questions will be just fine with most of us.

Besides, the Eurotech is the Mercedes of washing machines.

I responded to them already. I am in a mountain in Greece, so my Internet is spotty. I would much rather see this forum littered with washing machine threads than those stupid political threads.

One or two hear and there are ok, but every time I click on today's posts, I think I am at political nut job.com or something.

Greece.... sounds like fun. I will likely be having a question about the Asko washer at my wife's office, just as soon as I can get down there and get to poking around....

It looks like the belt is missing to me.

I enjoy reading (or watching it on tv) how to repair anything out there.
