Our main printer is an HP LJ6, circa 1996 (?).
I've gone through several toner cartridges. I think I had it rebuilt about 10 years ago, cost about 100 bucks. Then my brother gave me 2 boxed toner cartridges and another LJ6 !!! They were tossing them at work, don't know if the printer works, but I have spare parts. I have a lexmark all in one color, I did put new cartridges in it once, but if you don't use it regularly they dry out. It's not even hooked up now, I mainly use it for the scanner. I hate ink jets. If you need color look for the ones that use solid pellets, they don't dry out. But they are pricey. |

I've been using one of these for the last ~8 years. Has done around 50,000 pages. Uses ink cartridges that are bigger than my pinky finger. ;) |
All these DAMN printers are putting me out of business.:mad::mad::D:eek:

Funny, that's what the typewriter service guys were saying to his pals at the Radio/VCR/TV repair shop . . . or was it the place that rebuilt carbs . . . I don't remember.
