To be honest, I don't like chick flicks either. I've never even seen that movie.

Perhaps I should broaden my response to something like: Any chick flick ever made that men have suffered through.

After being married for 29 years, I have suffered through many chick flicks.

Saw "Flash Gordon" last night at the Hollywood cemetery: of all movies this must be in the top ten of bad movies. Still enjoined it to.

I've shot five features so far, none of the Directors or producers told me when they hired me: "lets make a bad movie". Making a good movie is one of the hardest things to do; all the arts, trades and managements have to flow together to make it work. If there is one link that for any reason doesn't work all others fall with it.

The American...

The American - a movie with George Clooney - by far the dumbest movie I ever saw... good plot but it just takes you nowhere...

Liked the cinematography in The American. But the film was slow and like you sad didn't go anywhere. It's the curse of a photographer becoming a film director; story telling is not their strongest point.

Viva la difference!

I enjoyed the film.

You probably did not like the recent Angelina Jolle film 'The Tourist" either.

Similar pacing.

Pearl Harbor: It was so bad a song was made about it.

Battlefield Earth was pretty awful too. Cavemen learning to fly Harrier Jets in a few hours that have been sitting unused for a 1000 years but seem to work just fine.
