I was surfing the newer MB cars and cam across this. What does it mean ? does newer MB also come with coffee makers and its is telling you your coffee is ready or it is reminding you to take a coffee break ?

It's telling you that there's lightning ahead if you'd like to re-heat your beverage... :D ;)

The car monitors more things than the ER and determines if you are to sleepy to drive safely.

It's a component of the Attention Assist System. Depending on the level of equipment you can get lane keeping assist, blind-spot assist, park assist, or night-view assist. it's pretty cool technology, but I'd bet that most members of this Forum would think it's a waste. At least I've got job security for a few more years. :D
