I had left Chrysler and bought Mecedes because their motto " Das Beste oder Nichts" -- the Best or Nothing-- rang true, although they were a little self-righteous too.
The manager/leader who doesn't succumb to greed or arrogance is rare indeed.

A good post of what occurred at more than just Chrysler of the big three. Perhaps in far too many other originally based in America industries as well. A bell went off in my head when you mentioned where you had worked. I may have heard your name in relationship to Chrysler at one time.
