What do you think about that car ? what is hidden ?

Well,

A: It ain't leather. Quite obviously MB-Tex. Knock a grand off for the blatant lie.
B: The rust on the screws holding the I.D. plate is worrisome. Why would it rust there and no where else? Another grand off.
C: The trunk seal is ripped. "No big deal" you might say but to me it means, Tennessee, lots of rain and rusty trunk floor. Knock $500 off.
D. 4 owners and one was a musician? Easy $500 off.
E. Do I really need to point out the half-arsed engine clean-up? 'Nother $500.

Okay, just from my quick look, $6500 - $3500 = $3000 and I haven't looked at the car.

For $6500 on a W115 it has to be either perfect or a rarity. Sorry, a, uggghh, GREEN sedan ain't it!

It has been repainted so take another $500 off as you dont know what was covered up by the paint.
It says ther are bubbles in the paint so it does have rust, probably covered by the layers of paint. Another $500 off.
At this rate it will be free to a good home !!
If it was owned by a young musician for a while it probably has been run on WVO so run from it as it has had the kiss of death !!!

Maybe this thread needs to be moved to DD so the good members that frequent that discussion can crucify it properly !!! :D

Good grief man! Between you and I we have them paying to take the car off their hands. Can you imagine what those fiends over in DD will do to it? They'll have the seller in stocks and flayed before sunrise!:D

I was about to jump in the fire. Thanks for talking me out of it. I would love to have a really nice W115 240D.
I will certainly pay what it is worth but I do not like to be taken for a ride.
