I woke up crying
SEALs trained to take risks
The statements of the wife's or parent's of these brave men echoing in my head ... "He wanted to be a SEAL from the time he was 10 or 12 years old," "He always had a love of God and his country. He's always been a patriot." "wouldn't want to leave this Earth any other way than how he did," his wife, Kimberly Vaughn, told CNN. "He loved his job," ... |
There's not much to say - the sadness is too much to contemplate. Their silent dignity speaks volumes for who they are.

Such a loss. |
Its a work hazard. They knew the risks.
The sad part is they died in a country that is no threat or benefit to us. |
Way to turn honoring the dead into a political opinion!
|
May those soldiers R.I.P knowing they fought for their Country.

if wishes were horses, then beggars would ride. if its and buts, were candy and nuts.. (wow, i can make false equivalences and bizarre non sequiturs too. this is fun.) (i can be a blind patriot, and support the mindless waste of young lives.) (wow, i wish i could have been alive during the vietnam war, so i could have supported that folly too. something tells me that you probably did. i'm sure jesus and ayn rand did too) remember: ideology is always more important than reality! |
We have ample opportunity to express whatever opinions we want on this board.
Would it be OK if we leave this thread for an expression of appreciation and a small memorial to the men and their families? |
