Freakin Iphone......
 

So... my Iphone has another issue. It will not sync to Itunes. I've done everything. Reset warnings, sync history, Restored the phone (bad mistake) the only thing it kept after the restore was my contacts, none of the Emails, no settings nothing.... none of my apps will transfer over (computer is authorized)

Wits end... about to throw the damned thing across the room if I thought it'd help.... any ideas?

Did you jail-break it at anytime? if you do a restore and setup as a new phone, you should be good to go. Sounds like your backup files got corrupted. Not sure. So I would restore, setup as new, then sync all your stuff over again.

try a different sync cable.

Same problem with mine, can't figure out how or why it will not add music to the iphone all of a sudden. To me its not a big deal since I have a Sansa clip that I use in the gym, but puzzling to say the least. I've updated iTunes, upgraded the OS on my phone, backed it all up and reset it but still just wont transfer. I'll stay tuned to this thread.

Its an Iphone 3Gs running 4.3.5 (I think, Gonna make sure, I know it's the most recent one) I have tried 6 diff sync cables from new to worn and nothing changes...

Have you tried to restore it then setup as new? You may even want to get a fresh disk image from the net, maybe yours is corrupt. Which would be odd. There are steps to remove the old image of 4.3.5 or whatever you have installed.

Ill just wait till ya'll git all thu bugs worked out before i get onre of those-
invasionofthemindsnatcherphones- as i call them ,because of seeing everyone walking around lookingdown fiddiling--when they are about to get creamed by a driver doing the same thing on his.

I dont bury my nose in the phone, It's mainly for calling and Texting when i'm out and about and only games when I'm at home or riding somewhere with someone else driving. I did go all the way back to a factory image, Reinstalled Itunes etc... Not help the current situation
