Forced Induction all over again

Its an incredible pity that you fail to see the real problem here. Your history has repeatedly told you the story and given you all the warnings you need to be an active, participating member of these forums.

Yet, you fervently insist that it is the moderators who are the antagonists, and not yourself.

If you were put on trial in a court of law, do you really think this accusation would hold up? Would they really believe the repeat offender who has been incarcerated uncountable times and continues to cry "Wolf!" ?

suck it up, you have alot to offer.

I give him under 20 days before he's "permanetly" banned for what- the fourth time?

He's got a great amount of information, but his method of discussion precludes him from staying on any forum without getting banned. It's a pity.

He found the need to label me a "lazy poser" in my thread in the performance paddock. I did not find anything he had to contribute helpful. Good riddance.

Maybe its time for all of us to learn how to co-exist with characters like him.
He, his friend & I had some hot encounters a long while back. I have found that if you credit the guy just a little when he contributes positively instead of just trying to push his buttons, he fits in fine.
Tolerance is a skill that I find lacking on the part of many on here, including myself, at times.
Its unfortunate that there are those on here that are just trying to whiten them self by blackening those who do have a degree of technical knowledge to offer the forums.
Even some of F.I.'s strongest protagonists have posted that while he maybe a cowboy he has both the hat & the cattle !! F.I. should see that as their best attempt at a compliment.
There are way too many on here with good literary & key board skills totally lacking any technical competence. If that is you best stay out of the technical forums unless you are prepared to take on board what advice is on offer from those who have significantly more technical ability than yourself. If you dont understand or like the message, dont shoot the messenger.

As most of us dont know you, it is difficult to decide if the label has any merit.
Was your inability to find any of his contribution helpful because you didnt understand it or didnt agree with it?

you have a point, but From an outsider looking in, some of the stuff he's done is just inexcuseable, I was reading the aforementioned thread and 99% of it was uncalled for.. It's hard to get along with someone who dosnt want to get along with the rest of the community..

I to are an outsider looking in.
I find it interesting that when F.I. was on an imposed holiday, there was a stream of members making their way to another site to get his help. That speaks volumes to me.
I find that F.I. does want to get along with the rest of the members of the forum. His intolerance of BS is what normally brings him unstuck. When I read the thread in question, I see a lot of good advice from him with well reasoned technical argument often presented by way of directed questions.
It appeared to me that the member he was questioning was not sufficiently competent to respond & appeared to have not thought out properly what advice was imbedded in the posts of F.I.

From what I read, my advice would have been to forget all the bolt on junk, just put an amg55 or similar motor in it.

Yes this is true.
On more than one occasion I have PM'd members suggesting they tone down a post to avoid a slap on the wrist. I wish that more members would do that. It would make for a much happier place.

.

You know I've had a few encounters with folks that have gotten testy but never found him to be a problem.

He seems very knowledgeable and cranky and cantankerous.

I appreciated his knowledge and found his quirks and offenses so obvious that they couldn't be taken seriously.

I've know people like that in my life and know that coddling them is the price to pay when interacting.

But I did notice that some of the more senior members had very short-fuses with him so he must have used up a lot of good will.
